Participating Jurisdictions

Central Maryland Homeland Security Educational Alliance brings together school systems and emergency management offices, state officials, and academia, with the mission of expanding the pipeline of students ready and able to pursue homeland security and emergency preparedness professions in the region.

While many organizations participate, CMHSEA is focused on implementing the Homeland Security Emergency Preparedness curriculum in high schools in six counties. CMHSEA provides a forum for these counties to work in unison and support each other through all phases of program development, sharing best practices and exercising greater efficiency and buying power as regional alliance. This is a regional solution for a regional challenge.
